Belle Winter Outfit Disneybound With Courage and Kindness | Blogmas Day 15

Friday, 15 December 2017

Doing this post is definitely out of my comfort zone and I've been quite nervous to post it. When I did my Marie Disneybound back in June I took those photos at Disneyland, so I felt it was more "normal" for me to be doing a blog post on that outfit because I was wearing that outfit out. However, I took these pictures in my back garden with my dad's help. I hate having my picture taken unless I'm at Disney and I know that may seem ridiculous but Disney is like a comfort blanket for me. I am so glad Hannah suggested we do this because it allowed me to step out of my comfort zone! Plus, I have wanted to explore Disneybounding a lot more since bounding as Marie. Hannah is one of my favourite bloggers and it has been amazing speaking and getting to know her, I am really excited to be collaborating with her!

For as long as I can remember I have wanted a red cape like the one Belle wore during "Something There", everything about this particular outfit and scene in the film is so beautiful. To this day it is still one of my favourite Disney scenes. As soon as Hannah mentioned putting together a Disneybound for this outfit I jumped at the chance. Luckily I didn't have to buy anything for this look as I already had everything I needed in my wardrobe.

It snowed over the weekend in some parts of the UK, as I was snowed in with nothing to do I thought this would be the perfect time to take some pictures. Especially as this is Belle's winter outfit and there's snow on the ground throughout the scene, I thought it would add a lovely touch to my bound. My dad was amazing and helped me out by taking the pictures for me! As Belle wears a pink dress underneath her red cape, I decided to go for a pink top and trouser combination. I bought the trousers from Missguided last year when I was looking for some colourful work trousers. The top is from Topshop and I actually bought it for Halloween last year when I dressed up as a pink mermaid. I love how they look paired together, the different shades of pink really compliment each other as the bodice on Belle's dress is darker than the skirt. I was actually wearing my walking boots when I took these pictures due to the snow, so that's why I haven't included my shoes in this bound. My original plan was the wear my red faux fur shearling coat to complete the look but my auntie kindly surprised me with the cape, so I knew I had to wear it. I'm not too sure where she got it from but I know eBay do sell similar ones.

I am so pleased with how this Disneybound turned out and it allowed me to do something out of comfort zone. Now I finally have Belle's red cape I am over the moon, I'm not sure exactly when I'll wear it but I will certainly make use out of it. A huge thank you to Hannah for coming up with the idea to put this Disneybound together!

Hannah has also put together her own Belle Disneybound and it is so perfect! The open space and greenery in the background is beautiful, the location really makes her bound stand out. To read more about Hannah's Disneybound, head over to her blog!
