5 Things I Still Haven't Experienced at Disneyland Paris

Thursday, 19 January 2017

A few days ago Lizi published a blog post discussing 10 things she is yet to experience at Disneyland Paris! I loved reading it as we are always finding out about things people have done at Disney, it's interesting to see what they are yet to experience. This got me thinking about my past trips and what I've missed out on doing, or just simply haven't done for myself.  I like to believe that I have experienced a lot of what Disneyland Paris has to offer but this is definitely not the case.

1 ♥ Meet a Princess in the Princess Pavilion
I find this surprising myself, I love the princesses and I do really enjoy meeting them but the Princess Pavilion just doesn't seem to interest me. I'm happy to meet any princess but the queue is always pretty long, I could do a couple of rides within the time I would have been waiting. It would be amazing if you were able to meet the Princess with their Prince in there too, it might make the wait a little more bearable. This might sound slightly petty as well but the background they stand in front of looks a bit tacky to me, the backdrop of photos can definitely make or break your picture.

2  Been on any of the attractions in Toon Studio
I am open to going on any attraction and I really want to experience Toy Soldier's Parachute Drop but I have just never gotten round to doing so. Toon Studios is one of my favourite places to have a wander around, as there is so much to look at. Hopefully on my next trip I can drag whoever I'm with onto one of the attractions!

 Meet Peter Pan
This is the one that saddens me the most, I haven't met Peter Pan on any of my Disney trips and I am so desperate to. During my Halloween trip the queue was cut off just as we got to it and we were told if we came back in 15 minutes we would be able to meet him. We went and rode Pirates of the Caribbean and went straight back after, we were only gone for 10 minutes and the queue was cut off again. We were unable to meet him and I was devastated, I am making it my main mission during my next trip to meet him!

4  Taken a picture on an empty Main Street, in front of the castle at night
This is something I am absolutely dying to do and I meant to do it during my last trip. However, by the end of  Dreams I was exhausted and I didn't feel like waiting around. Seeing peoples pictures has made me regret not doing this, as it makes for such an incredible photo. It is definitely a must do for my next trip!

 Eaten in Auberge de Cendrillon
As much as I would love to meet the Princesses with their Prince, as the only Prince I've met is Naveen, I don't think I can justify paying for it. I'm not someone who is desperate to try all of the food at a Disney Park, it just really does not interest me, especially as a vegetarian. Therefore, the price seems a bit steep to me. I know a lot of people don't necessarily pay for the food but the experience they have meeting the characters and I can understand why. I would like to experience Auberge one day but I'm definitely not in a rush to do so.

Is there anything you are yet to experience at a Disney Park? I'd love to know!

  1. I loved this post! Definitely inspired to create something similar, I've only been on two trips to DLP so there's so much more for me to see.
I only met Chip & Dale on my last trip so I'd love to meet face characters in the future :)
