5 Must-Do's For My Halloween Disneyland Paris Trip

Wednesday, 31 August 2016

A week ago I finally booked my next trip to Disneyland Paris, I wasn't sure if I'd be visiting this year but I was determined to make it happen. My dream was to visit during the Halloween season again and as October got closer and closer, it didn't look like a trip was going to happen. However, I manged to find an amazing deal and I have booked to go with my twin brother, friend and auntie from the 9th - 12th October and I am ridiculously excited. I went during the Halloween season when I was 8 years old and fell in love with it, the whole park looks incredible.

1.Meet the characters ♥
After meeting Jack Skellington in his Sandy Claws outfit at Christmas I would love to meet him as the Pumpkin King, accompanied by Sally. I have seen pictures of them meeting together during the Halloween season so I am hoping that they're both out during my trip, it would be a dream come true to be able to meet them both together! I would love to meet some of the fab 5 in their Halloween outfits and Marie in her orange bow, I'm not sure how often they are out in their Halloween costumes though but I'm going to try and make meeting characters my priority during this trip!

2.Try a pineapple whip ♥
I never tried a dole whip during my trips to Walt Disney World, so I can't say I understood the obsession with them. However, I love pineapple so when I heard they were bringing it to Disneyland Paris, I couldn't help but join in with the excitement. I know they are not exactly the same as dole whips and I have heard people say they do taste similar but then there are others who are not too fond of it. I am still excited to try a pineapple whip regardless of the controversy that came along with its announcement!

3.Watch Mickey & the Magician
I have read and heard so many positive reviews of Mickey & the Magician and I wasn't sure whether or not I'd actually be able to see the show in person. I wasn't able to see Forrest of Enchantment and I am still yet to watch the whole show on YouTube, I just can't seem to bring myself to do it. I think it's partially because I wasn't able to visit the parks during its run. Now I know I am able to watch Mickey & the Magician during my October trip it has made me even more excited for the show! From the short clips I have seen, it looks incredible and I cannot wait to see it for myself.

4.Watch the Royal Castle Stage Show, parade and castle show
One of my favourite things about visiting Disney during the holidays are the shows and parades they put on and the castle stage show sounds incredible. Not only will I be able to see the villains at the parks, I might even be able to meet them after the show has taken place. Here's hoping Gaston is among them... I remember looking at the pictures my mom and dad took of the parade last year and feeling extremely jealous that I wasn't able to see it for myself, so I definitely won't be missing the Halloween parade during my trip. I was extremely disappointed with Disney Dreams of Christmas but I know the castle show at Halloween predominantly revolves around the villains, therefore I'm looking forward to seeing which characters and songs are included in it.

5.Add to my pin collection ♥
I have a very small pin collection and ever since I have seen more and more pictures of other peoples collections, it has made me want to start adding to my own. This trip I am going to make a conscious effort to buy pins that I regret not purchasing in the past. As I have previously stayed in the Santa Fe hotel that pin is first on my list to buy and as I am staying in the Cheyenne this trip that will also be on my list. I'm also looking forward to seeing the Halloween themed pins that will be released! I know this is going to end up like my tsum tsum collection, once I start buying them I definitely will not be able to stop...
