21 Facts About Me

Sunday, 17 April 2016

It was my birthday on 14th April and I am officially 21 years old, so that means I am now finally able to drink when I next go to EPCOT and that is definitely what I look most forward to being this age... I honestly still mentally feel like I am 10 years old and I am not ready to grow up, so if I could just pause and stay this age forever that would be brilliant. To celebrate my leap into adulthood, even though I've technically been an adult for the past 3 years, I thought I'd do a post on 21 facts about me. I can't promise that they'll be interesting facts and it took me a while to think of them but here they are.

1 I have a twin brother, he is older than me by 7 minutes.
2 If I could live anywhere in the world it would be Tokyo, it is such an incredible place and I fell in love with it when I went last year. It is also home to a Disney Park which is always a plus.
3♥ Up until about a year and a half ago I would ask everyone to call me "Vicky" but decided that I no longer liked going by that name, so if I meet someone new I tell them my name is Victoria. I find it weird when I hear people calling me Vicky, as I'm not used to it anymore.
4♥ I really have not enjoyed my time at university, I love the people I have meet and fresher week but the past 3 years have been extremely difficult and I can't wait to finish.
5 I have only been to Disneyland Paris three times, Walt Disney World twice and Tokyo Disneyland and DisneySea once.
6 I love the sea and I think that's why The Little Mermaid is my favourite film, being by the sea instantly puts me in a good.
7 I'm vegetarian and have been for a year and 10 months, it is honestly one of the best decisions I have ever made.
8 I have three cats called Luffy, Casey and Chip. Chip was named after the little teacup in Beauty and the Beast and Luffy was named after Monkey D. Luffy from One Piece.
9 In my first year at university I studied Japanese and got 89% overall but it doesn't count towards my degree, in the summer I am going to carry on teaching myself.
10 I have adopted a tiger and a lion, it is £3 a month each and they send me updates every now and then letting me know how they are doing.
11 I have only ever had one job, I am a Saturday assistant at a library and have been since September 2013.
12 The full title of my degree is Film, Media and Cultural Studies.
13 I used to dye my hair bright red because of Ariel, I now haven't dyed my hair for over a year and my hair has loved me for it.
14 I love musicals, For Good and Defying Gravity from Wicked are probably two of my favourite songs from any musical.
15 If I could live anywhere else in the UK it'd definitely be Brighton, I love seaside towns.
16 Other than Disney, the Harry Potter films and Tim Burton films are my favourite and in case you were wondering, I'm a proud Gryffindor.
17 The Nightmare Before is the film that started my love for Disney, when I was in year 7 I used to own so many NBC themed clothes and bags. Me and my dad went on a day trip to Manchester to see it in 3D and I had on NBC jeans, a top, a hoodie and a bag, it was extremely over the top.
18 I played netball for almost 11 years, I stopped when I started university as I didn't have time to go to training or games due to the timing of my lectures. I really do miss it and I hope to join a team again one day.
19 My favourite TV shows are Once Upon A Time and The Walking Dead.
20 I'm extremely short sited, I wear contact lenses most of the time as my glasses hurt my ears, which I'm 100% sure they're not supposed to.
21 My favourite type of food is Japanese, I love sushi.

I hope you enjoyed reading these somewhat interesting facts about me, honestly being an adult terrifies me but I am excited to see what the future holds.
