My 2016 Highlights

Saturday, 31 December 2016

2016 has been a weird year and I know it has been quite difficult for some people, so I wanted to share some of my highlights from the past year.

My Top 4 Christmas Movies

Wednesday, 14 December 2016

One of my favourite things about Christmas is all of the films I get to watch and they honestly make me so happy. The Disney Channel original Christmas movies were always on my list to watch every year but I'm sure they stopped showing them a couple of years ago. I'll have to try and find them online! These are just a few of my all time favourite Christmas movies and I haven't added Elf to the list due to the fact that everyone is already as obsessed with that film as I am, how couldn't you be?

A Musical Disney Quiz

Thursday, 17 November 2016

I recieved an email last week with the subject "Disney Movie Song Quiz", seeing the word Disney instantly excited me and I clicked open the email as quick as I could. I love doing Disney quizzes, whenever I find that I have nothing to do at home I always do the ones that pop up on my Facebook feed.

My Thoughts On Beauty and the Beast Live Action Trailer

Monday, 14 November 2016

It honestly feels like I have been waiting an eternity for a trailer to be released for this film and for the film itself. When I found out Emma Watson was going to be playing Belle it was January 2015 and I was at the Harry Potter Studios in Watford and from that moment on I was ridiculously excited for Beauty and the Beast to be a live action film. Emma Watson is someone I have admired since the early days of Harry Potter, so for her to be portraying one of my favourite Disney characters is a dream come true.

My Top 4 Animated Halloween Films

Saturday, 29 October 2016

I've only recently started to get into horror films as they did used to terrify me but now I have someone who will watch them with me I love them. However, I thought I'd talk about my top 4 animated  Halloween films. They aren't necessarily Halloween related, they are just films I enjoy watching around this time of the year. I guess this is not only my top 4 favourite films to watch at Halloween but also my top 4 stop motion films. Two are made by Laika and two are Tim Burton films and Laika even had contract work with the Corpse Bride. I love stop motion, it's such a beautiful craft that lends itself to Horror so effectively, with its jankier motions and the inherently creepier quasi-humanoid character models.

Baking | Vegan Halloween Themed Cupcakes

Thursday, 27 October 2016

I admit that I am pretty awful at decorating cupcakes, I desperately need to buy some piping bags... This was my first attempt at making vegan cupcakes and I personally think they taste amazing! I checked that everything I put into them was vegan before making them as well, such as the food colouring. This recipe also uses American measurements.

1 cup of non-dairy milk
1/2 cup of vegan butter
1 cup of caster sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups of self raising flour
1 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder
1/2 cup of bicarbonate soda

1/2 cup of vegan butter
2 1/2 cups of icing sugar
1.4 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Green food colouring

Haul | Disneyland Paris Halloween Trip 2016

Wednesday, 19 October 2016

Last week I returned from an amazing trip at Disneyland Paris, I spent two full days in the parks and I had such an incredible time. Of course, I wanted to buy everything in sight but I restrained myself and only spent the euros I took with me. There are a few things I do regret not buying but that's always the case with Disney trips, However, I knew before I went that there were a few items that I definitely wanted to purchase.

Foxes in the Forest Disney Prints

Sunday, 18 September 2016

If you're anything like me and love Disney then you are more than likely guilty of scrolling through Etsy for hours trying to find the perfect Disney prints for your bedroom wall. I have been looking for prints to fill the empty space on my wall for such a long time and I had actually given up looking, due to the ones that I liked being too expensive. I was on Twitter a few weeks ago and noticed that Rachel, the creator of Foxes in the Forest, was looking for a few Disney bloggers to collaborate with. I gave her my email address and I was lucky enough to get a reply and receive two beautiful prints to review.

My Dissertation | Mulan

Sunday, 11 September 2016

Mulan is the last princess I wrote about for my dissertation and I wrote this section quite quickly. There is so much to talk about when it comes to Mulan, that I actually found myself running out of words extremely fast. I would've loved to have mentioned A Girl Worth Fighting For but unfortunately, I was already over my 10,000 word limit. I dreaded writing my dissertation but once I had started it didn't seem too bad anymore, I am really proud of what I have written. I hope you have enjoyed reading these sections from my dissertation and it means a lot to me that people have actually taken their time to read them. Thank you!

45 Disney Questions

Thursday, 8 September 2016

I know, I know, another post where I answer Disney related questions but I love doing them! The questions are always really interesting and entertaining to answer and I have finally come across one that is longer than 20 questions. I also really enjoy reading other people's answer as well, so if you have done this tag then please send me the link!

My Dissertation | Pocahontas

Sunday, 4 September 2016

When I chose to do my dissertation topic on Disney, I knew I was going to write about gender but I wasn't exactly sure what my question would actually focus on. I'd had the idea that I was going to discuss Mulan and Pocahontas, as to me they are the two princesses that truly began to show that Disney were beginning to move away from their stereotypical representation of a princess. They definitely still have their flaws but Pocahontas proved she was leader. That being said, I definitely found Pocahontas one of the hardest princesses to write about in the beginning but she is one of the ones I wrote the most about.

5 Must-Do's For My Halloween Disneyland Paris Trip

Wednesday, 31 August 2016

A week ago I finally booked my next trip to Disneyland Paris, I wasn't sure if I'd be visiting this year but I was determined to make it happen. My dream was to visit during the Halloween season again and as October got closer and closer, it didn't look like a trip was going to happen. However, I manged to find an amazing deal and I have booked to go with my twin brother, friend and auntie from the 9th - 12th October and I am ridiculously excited. I went during the Halloween season when I was 8 years old and fell in love with it, the whole park looks incredible.

My Dissertation | Aladdin

Sunday, 28 August 2016

Out of the five Princesses I wrote about for this chapter, I probably wrote my section on Jasmine the quickest. I knew straight away what scenes I was going to analyse and once I had started writing I found it incredibly easy to discuss her character. I love Jasmine as a Princess, she truly stands up for what she believes in and she has my favorite animal as a pet. I have titled this Aladdin and not Jasmine because I wanted to make sure I referred to the film and not just the Princess, even though I will only be talking about Jasmine.

The 25 Questions Tag

Wednesday, 24 August 2016

I wasn't actually tagged to do this tag but I really enjoyed reading everyone's answers, so I thought I'd do it regardless. Hopefully you'll be able to get to know me a bit more by reading my answers! I'm not too sure whether or not they'll be interesting...

My Dissertation | Beauty and the Beast

Sunday, 21 August 2016

I decided to write about the five Princesses that are in my chapter on "The Princesses of the Disney Renaissance" in the order they were released. It made it a lot easier for me when I was doing my research, as the books I found also wrote about them in chronological order. I really enjoyed writing about Belle, I think she is such a unique princess.

How to Make Your Own Disney Bunting

Wednesday, 17 August 2016

As I was walking home from work last week I noticed that The Works were selling Disney books for £1. I was initially going to buy them to add to my growing collection of Disney items but then I remembered I have some blank wall space in my room and what better way to fill it than creating my own Disney bunting? I had helped my friend make some bunting last year, so I remembered how to make it without it looking like a toddler had done it. As I am not the most artistic person there was definitely a chance that could happen. It is extremely easy to make and does not take too long, I think it would make a perfect handmade gift for any Disney fan. I am also going to be giving one away over on my @Disney_Blogger account once we reach 300 followers, so make sure you are following so you don't miss out!

Things you will need:
Disney books of your choice (make sure the images are big enough to fill the bunting template)
Bunting template

My Dissertation | The Little Mermaid

Sunday, 14 August 2016

As The Little Mermaid is my favourite film and Ariel's my favourite princess, I found it the easiest to write about her. For the next five princesses I wrote about them all in one chapter called "The Princesses of the Disney Renaissance" and each of them has their own section, which is about 900 words.

How to Create Your Own Tangled Inspired Lanterns

Wednesday, 10 August 2016

I remember watching Tangled for the first time and falling in love with the lanterns, the lantern scene is definitely one of the most beautiful pieces of animation I have ever seen. Ever since I have thought about gathering loads of people and letting off our own lanterns but that is still yet to happen. Therefore, creating my own lantern that I could use at home seemed like the best idea. These are incredibly easy to make and add a little Disney magic to your home! These definitely didn't turn out exactly how I had hoped but I'm still pretty pleased with them regardless!

Things you will need:
An empty candle jar
Matte frosted glass spray
Full sheet A4 label paper
Yellow paint (optional)

My Dissertation | Snow White Chapter

Sunday, 7 August 2016

I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy writing my dissertation, at the time it was an awful experience but looking back on it I somewhat enjoyed writing it. I also put a lot of pressure on myself do well due to picking Disney as my topic. I disliked that a lot of my time at home was spent curled over my laptop, books and journals but all of the hard work I put into it paid off and I have honestly never been so proud of myself. I came to the realisation that writing about Disney is something that I thoroughly enjoy doing. Taking my time to analyse clips from the films I chose to write about and dive deeper into the meaning behind certain aspects of the films was extremely interesting and gratifying. Due to doing a film degree I had too textually analyse the clips I chose, therefore discussing the music and shots used was important. I also includes a chapter on what theories were relevant to my topic, but I won't be uploading that chapter on my blog.
I wrote a chapter on Snow White in order to compare the representation of gender in an earlier Disney film to those released during the Disney Renaissance, I wrote about The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Pocahontas and Mulan. I'll be uploading each princesses section in separate blog posts, in order to spread them out.
Overall, I received 75% for my dissertation, which is a first and I couldn't be happier.

How has the representation of the female gender in the Disney Princess movies progressed during the Disney Renaissance in relation to Snow White?

My Disney Wishlist | Part Two

Wednesday, 3 August 2016

After writing my first Disney wishlist I actually acquired a couple of the items on it, so I thought it was time for me to put together my second wishlist. My twin brother bought me the Rapunzel Jim Shore figure for my birthday and I managed to buy the Toulouse and Berlioz tsum tsums from a group on Facebook. As I wrote my first post almost 5 months ago, Disney have been churning out new merchandise, I do not doubt that I will start making a new wishlist post every month, or every other month due to waiting to purchase most of Disney's merchandise.

My Thoughts on Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: Breakout!

Sunday, 31 July 2016

When I woke up on Sunday morning I decided to have a scroll through Twitter and I was greeted by some extremely upset and confused Disney fans. For while now it had been rumored and speculated that Disney California Adventure Tower of Terror would eventually be re-imagined into a Guardians of the Galaxy themed attraction. On Sunday at San Diego Comic Con it was officially announced that the beginning of summer 2017 will see the new attraction come to fruition. Here are my thoughts and opinions on replacing the iconic Tower of Terror.

My Hogwarts Story

Sunday, 17 July 2016

I was tagged by the lovely Sam to do this tag and something I don't talk about a lot is my love for Harry Potter. Although, it might seem slightly obvious due to my blog URL and all of my social media handles being "Accio" Victoria. I want to try and start publishing more Harry Potter related content on my blog, these may include baking posts. They definitely won't be as frequent as my Disney posts though!

20 Facts About My Disney Life Tag

Wednesday, 13 July 2016

I was tagged by the lovely Hannah and Megan to do the 20 facts about my Disney life tag! I am awful at coming up with facts, so I have been reading a lot of other bloggers posts for inspiration! I love reading about other people's Disney side, so I find this tag really interesting. Hopefully, mine is just as interesting as the others that I have read!

Vising Disneyland Paris in 2003

Sunday, 10 July 2016

The first time I visited Disney I was 8 years old in 2003 and I went to Disneyland Paris during Halloween with my family. I do actually remember some parts of the trip quite vividly and my dad took some pictures while we were there. As I have previously said, looking back at Disney photos is one of my favourite things to do, so I thought it'd be interesting to show you some of the pictures from my trip in 2003 and briefly talk about what I can remember from it! The picture below is of me and my twin brother.

My Favourite Disney Character Meet & Greet Experienes

Sunday, 3 July 2016

When I first went to Florida back in 2010, I was not bothered about meeting the characters. I think it was because I was going through a time where I absolutely hated having my picture taken. I have barely any pictures of me from that trip, but I did still manage to take over 1000 pictures. Then when I went back in 2013 I wanted to meet as many of the characters as I could and I loved it. This was when I had bright red hair, I kept getting told I look like Ariel by the characters and cast members, which of course made me extremely happy. Looking back at Disney pictures is one of my favourite things to do, so meeting characters is definitely something I am focusing on a lot more now. It was hard to narrow it down but I have picked my favourite 4 character interactions that I have experienced.

The Disney Tsum Tsum Tag

Wednesday, 29 June 2016

I remember seeing tsum tsums being released in Japan and hoping that they would soon come to the UK. As soon as I realised it was the day of the release I ran around to Clintons and bought my first four. I never thought that I would become so obsessed with buying them but every new set that is brought out, I have to purchase them. I'm more than likely going to need a separate room for my collection in the near future, as the tsum tsum that have been announced look adorable.

Top 5 Disney Reprise Songs

Sunday, 19 June 2016

I love listening to the Disney reprises, sometimes more than the actual songs. A reprise is a repeated passage in music and it will occur after the main song has taken place. I personally believe that Disney reprises do not receive the love they deserve. They are just as amazing, if not better, than the original song and really wrap up the songs as a whole. It was difficult for me to narrow it down to just five but here are my top 5 Disney reprise songs! These are in no particular order. Let know what your favorites are in the comments!

Travel | Portugal 2016

Wednesday, 15 June 2016

I know I have been pretty quiet on the blogging sphere for the last month, I've found it really difficult to just sit down and write. After being continuously sat in front of my laptop writing my dissertation and doing my other university assignments, the last thing I wanted was to be hunched over my laptop. Last week me and my boyfriend went on our first holiday together to Albufeira in Portugal, I had such an incredible week. I thought I'd post some pictures on here and talk a little bit about my time there, rather than doing separate posts I'm going to do it one big post. Coming back to the bleak English weather was not fun at all, especially because the weather was so beautiful in Portugal.

Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette

Wednesday, 18 May 2016

Too Faced was always a brand I never really thought twice about until early last year. For Christmas I asked for the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette and ever since it has been my go to palette to use every single day. I have seen so many beauty vloggers using and talking about this palette, as soon as I saw that Too Faced had released it in America, I knew I needed to buy it. The palette instantly caught my eye, as I am obsessed with brightly coloured make-up packaging and the shades looked beautiful. I had no idea when this was going to be released in the UK but thankfully I noticed someone retweet Debenhams tweet announcing it was in stock. Of course, I instantly added it to my basket and bought it.

Baking | Vegan Mickey Mouse Rice Kripsies Treats

Friday, 13 May 2016

I have been wanting to make these for such a long time! I was debating whether to use vegan butter and marshmallows, or just use a healthier vegan recipe. As I manged to get my hands on vegan marshmallows, which are pretty expensive, I decided to follow the original recipe. Due to the marshmallows being £2.49 for a 75g bag, I have decided to halve the ingredients, so if you want to make more just make sure you double it!

1 1/2 tablespoons of dairy free butter
150g of vegan marshmallows
3 cups of any Rice Krispies cereal, I used Sainsburys own Rice Pops
1 blocks of vegan chocolate
Mickey Mouse shaped cookie cutter

10 Facts | The Little Mermaid

Sunday, 8 May 2016

I know I sound like a stuck record with the amount I go on about my love for The Little Mermaid but I thought it'd be interesting to do a post including some facts on my all time favourite film. As much as I like to think I am a Disney expert, that is definitely not the case. I hope these facts are somewhat of interest and that you enjoy reading facts all about Disney just as much as I do!

The Walt Disney World Tag

Sunday, 1 May 2016

I know, another tag post but I have a ton of exciting posts planned for the next upcoming months and I cannot wait to start putting them all together. This time I am doing the Walt Disney World tag, I didn't get tagged to do it but I thought it'd be a fun and easy post for me to do! I have a love, hate relationship with tags posts, as I love answering all of the questions and reminiscing about my visits to Disney but it also makes me miss it even more. I am in desperate need of booking a trip soon!

Morphe Brushes 35T Palette

Sunday, 24 April 2016

When it comes to buying make up I am extremely indecisive, I wish I was able to buy all of it as there is so much that I want. One of my favourite beauty products to buy is definitely eye shadow, I love the feeling of opening up a new palette and all of the shadows are completely untouched. I knew that with my birthday money I wanted to buy a new eye shadow palette, I originally had my eyes on the Too Faced Natural Eyes Palette and Gwen Stefani's Urban Decay Palette. I spent so much time flicking through pictures of them trying to decide which one to buy and I did almost end up buying both, then I was introduced to the beautiful Morphe Brushes Taupe Palette and I instantly fell in love. I'd seen Morphe Brushes products floating around the blogging and YouTube sphere for such a long time but I never really thought twice about it because I was just expecting it to be another expensive brand that I would not be able to afford. However, I was extremely wrong.

21 Facts About Me

Sunday, 17 April 2016

It was my birthday on 14th April and I am officially 21 years old, so that means I am now finally able to drink when I next go to EPCOT and that is definitely what I look most forward to being this age... I honestly still mentally feel like I am 10 years old and I am not ready to grow up, so if I could just pause and stay this age forever that would be brilliant. To celebrate my leap into adulthood, even though I've technically been an adult for the past 3 years, I thought I'd do a post on 21 facts about me. I can't promise that they'll be interesting facts and it took me a while to think of them but here they are.

Maple & Whisky Disney Themed Candles & Reed Diffuser

Friday, 8 April 2016

One of the most memorable things from visiting a Disney park for me is definitely the scents you smell around the parks, each land has its own scent and all of them bring back different memories for me. I never even considered that it might be possible to bring these particular scents home with you and have your house smell like Disney but it just so happens that you can. I came across the company Maple & Whisky just before Christmas and instantly knew that I needed to purchase some of their candles, so I asked my elder brother to get me one for Christmas and I have become obsessed ever since. I am still yet to light the candle my brother got me because I have been waiting for the day I finally bought more of their candles so could write a post on them, I'll also be talking about the reed diffuser I was lucky enough to trial.

Japan 2015 | Universal Studios Osaka

Friday, 18 March 2016

I have been sat looking through my pictures of my trip to Japan for a few minutes and I came across the ones I took while I was at Universal Studios in Osaka. I thought I'd compile them all into a blog post and talk about my day there! I don't talk about my love for Harry Potter as much I do Disney but as you can probably guess from my blog name, I love Harry Potter and that was one of the reasons I wanted to visit Universal Studios while I was in Osaka. The Wizarding World looks exactly the same as the one in Florida and they sell the same merchandise but I could not pass up the opportunity to visit. I might start doing more posts on Harry Potter, as it has played a big part in my life for such a long time. Maybe there's a Harry Potter tag floating around somewhere? I didn't actually take that many pictures in The Wizarding World part, as I took SO many photos while I was in Florida and like I said, it looks exactly the same and it was pretty bleak day. However, I hope you enjoy the pictures I did happen to take!

My Disney Wishlist | Part One

Wednesday, 16 March 2016

I have seen quite a few Disney bloggers do posts all about their Disney wishlist, so I thought I'd put one together! Disney merchandise is my weakness but unfortunately I'm running out of space in my room for it and some of it I cannot get my hands on in the UK. It is official, Japan definitely get the best Disney merchandise and I regret not buying everything when I was there in July last year. Although, I did come home with a ton of Disney merchandise, I just couldn't resist but they have just started releasing a lot more products and everything is so, so adorable. This is just part one because there is definitely more stuff that belongs on this wishlist but I couldn't fit it in the picture! It also appears that my wishlist has a colour scheme, which was completely unintentional.

My Disney Confessions | Part One

Tuesday, 8 March 2016

I have a few Disney confessions that I have been thinking about and after seeing Sam and Amy do a blog post all about their own Disney confessions, I thought it would be fun to give it a go and put mine on my blog for everyone to read. This is just part one, so I will definitely be doing more of these posts as I really enjoyed writing these 7 confessions and I will more than likely come up with a new one to write about straight after I publish this post. If you have any Disney confessions then let me know in the comments!

1♥  I am a pretentious Disney fan.
A couple of years ago Sarah Snitch made a video all about being a "pretentious" Disney fan on her YouTube channel and as I was watching it I realised that I can relate to everything she is saying. Most Disney fans are probably the same way, if someone states a Disney fact and you know they are wrong then you have to correct them, you cannot let them go on without telling them that they are in fact wrong. I like to tell people Disney facts whether or not they want to hear them, I enjoy pouring my knowledge of Disney onto other people, especially my family and my boyfriend. I can't watch "guess the Disney song" videos on YouTube without getting angry, they usually play it so they can establish who the biggest Disney fan is but I just find myself shouting the songs at the screen and getting annoyed if they do not guess them straight away. I could go on and on about being a pretentious Disney fan but you should definitely watch Sarah's video on it here:

Japan 2015 | The Ghibli Museum, Mitaka

Friday, 4 March 2016

I am writing this short post 8 months after visiting Japan and it is making me miss it more than anything but I have been meaning to write about my visit to the Ghibli Museum for such a long time, that I thought it was time I finally did it. Being able to visit Japan was such an incredible experience and I really am grateful that I was able to travel to such an amazingly, unique country and I can't wait for the day I am able to go back to where I consider home for me (as well as Disney, of course.) The first Studio Ghibli film I watched was Spirited Away and I admit that I was not a fan of it at first but the more Studio Ghibli films I watched, the more I began to love it. I give my twin brother full credit, as I know that he will want it. I was ridiculously excited to visit the museum because my brother, aunt and uncle had been before and had told me all about it on numerous occasions. It is important to know that you have to buy your tickets online, you cannot turn up at the museum and expect to get in without having a ticket already. Unfortunately, you are not allowed to take pictures once you are inside the museum, so I do not have many pictures to show you but there are a few pictures situated on their official website which is linked at the bottom of this post. I agree with the policy of no pictures because it allows you take everything in and appreciate the museum a lot more without worrying about pictures, even though you still get the odd guests that will completely ignore this and take pictures regardless.

Baking | Vegan Peanut Butter & Banana Cookies

Wednesday, 2 March 2016

When baking I always tend to stick to the same recipes and typically only ever bake basic cookies and cupcakes, sometime last year I decided to give baking some vegan cookies a go and I personally think they turned out amazing. I am vegetarian but I'd love to start trying out a lot more vegan recipes, so I thought I'd make these cookies and share the recipe I used with you. Like my Mickey & Minnie Mouse cookies I did follow an already made recipe but with this one I am going to change it slightly. You can definitely really taste the peanut butter in this cookies, so if you are not a fan of it you can always add less or just take it out of the recipe altogether and if you do not want to make as many cookies just simply half the ingredients! These cookies are super quick and easy to make, they also taste amazing, if you are someone who doubts vegan cooking and baking then definitely give these a go and try them out for yourself!

120g mashed bananas
125g peanut butter
70g dark brown soft sugar
100g caster sugar
1 and a half teaspoons of vanilla extract
165g plain flour
1 table spoon of baking powder

The Disneyland Paris Tag

Monday, 29 February 2016

I love doing tags, especially the Disney related ones because I always enjoy answering all of the questions! I'm currently in my third year at university, so I may not be able to post as much as I would like until the 9th May, which is when my dissertation is due. It is extremely scary but I am excited to to finish my degree. Therefore, I might start doing a few tags just so I am able to get a post up, so if you've done any tags please link me to them!

1♥  When was your first trip and how many times have you been?
The first time I visited Disneyland Paris I was 8 years old and I remember it really well because it is around the time when I began to truly love Disney. We went during Halloween time and I remember walking through Disney Village and hearing This Is Halloween and my little 8 year old self got so excited. I think since that trip I have been twice? I am definitely going to be going a lot more in the future. Here's a picture of me from my first trip not quite knowing how to smile.

Baking | Mickey and Minnie Mouse Cookies

Wednesday, 24 February 2016

I am by no means an expert when it comes to baking and the recipes I follow are pretty basic but I want to start sharing what I bake on my blog, if it ends up turning out okay and the decoration turns out somewhat decent. I am by no means an artist, so decorating cakes and biscuits is quite a challenge for me but I think these turned out okay! Next time I make them I will use a smaller nozzle for the icing. I thought I would share how to make them and decorate them with you. They are super easy to make and I think they would be lovely to give as gifts to any Disney lover. I got these cookie cutters from the Disney Cakes &Sweets magazine but I'm sure you will be able to find them online somewhere! I did not make this recipe up on my own, I did use Disney's Cakes & Sweets for guidance!

200g softened, unsalted butter
200g caster sugar
1 beaten egg
400g plain flour, you will also need extra for dusting
Black, red and white icing tubes (if you do not wish to make your own, which I don't)

Top 5 Must-Do's At Disneyland Paris

Thursday, 18 February 2016

When visiting any Disney Park for the first time it is such a great feeling knowing exactly what you want to do and see once you get there, as it can be pretty overwhelming at first. Personally, I find that I am able to enjoy myself a lot more if I have done everything that I really wanted to do as soon as I enter the park. That way I am able to relax and take my time doing everything else that the park has to offer, without feeling like I have to rush from land to land. I last visited the park during the Christmas season last December and I knew what characters I wanted to meet before getting there, so I decided to make sure that was the first thing I did. I have thought carefully about the top 5 things that you definitely wouldn't want to miss while at Disneyland Paris and they are in no particular order.

Top 4 Disney Attractions

Sunday, 14 February 2016

One of the best things about vising a Disney Park is definitely the attractions, especially when you manage to go on a quieter day and there are barely any queues, so I thought I'd do a blog post talking about mine! I even asked some of my family members what theirs are, so they will be included at the end as well as some familiar Disney YouTuber's answers! These are by no means in no particular order.

Let's Talk | Shanghai Disneyland

Tuesday, 9 February 2016

As you are probably more than aware, Disney are opening their $5.5 billion park this year in Shanghai on 16th June. Just like everyone else I am highly anticipating its opening. Unfortunately I will not be able to visit the park during its opening and I'm not sure when I will be able to but I am more than excited to see how everything turns out. The park will feature two hotels (which I personally do not think will be enough), Shanghai Disneyland hotel and a Toy Story themed hotel, a shopping distract and 99 acres of land. Mickey Avenue is the entrance to the park, so I'm guessing it will not be Main Street USA like the other parks? Correct me if I'm wrong. It is inspired by the personalities of Mickey Mouse and his friends, so more than likely the fab five. Below is concept art of the entrance to the park.
